We decided to interview some of the JCs and SCs as Boys State comes to an end. Almost all the CJs and SCs said they loved their experience with their parishes. While they did have some trouble at the beginning, for the most part these issues were small and easy to fix.
The JCs we interviewed praised their respective parishes highly. “They caught on really fast,” one JC said. Another stated, “This is probably the best parish I ever had. I mean, these guys are driven academically and driven to succeed as young men.”
So as Boys State concludes and we reach the bittersweet end of our journey, make sure to personally thank your JCs and SCs for all their hard work and dedication. And for the JCs and SCs reading, we hope that your time with this year’s Boys State citizens was worthwhile. We hope the program welcomes you back again next year.
