Yesterday morning, one shortcoming was exposed. Lines for food were exceedingly long. With around 250 citizens active, some people may be expecting lines this size. Others, especially parishes that march in the back of the line, wonder if anything could be done to shorten the lines.
A Daily Magnolia reporter interviewed several people about their feelings on the long lines.
Van Guidry of Mississippi Parish stated he believed the long lines were a necessary evil and “not that bad.”
We also took the time to interview Benjamin Wages, a citizen of Bogafalaya Parish. Benjamin stated he believed that the long lines were caused by other citizens being inconsiderate of each other, stating, “I don’t believe this is an issue caused by our beautiful staff or any one individual.” Benjamin also used our interview to announce his campaign for state treasurer.
Overall, the consensus on the large breakfast lines is that they aren’t pleasant to be in, and there isn’t much we can do about them, as our facilities struggle to accommodate so many citizens.
