All of these candidates rotated from dorm to dorm in an event called Town Hall. This gave each candidate the ability to interact with all of the citizens in each Parish. After a short introduction, citizens were encouraged to ask questions to the candidates. These questions ranged from detailed critiques of the candidates’ proposed bills to lighthearted jokes meant to lighten the mood. This combination made for an enjoyable experience that simultaneously allowed the candidates running for state office to campaign and answer the citizens’ questions.
