Falaya Fusion

As most of us know (especially the Falayas), Boys State started off with a Falaya Feud. This feud started on Monday and continued until Wednesday. Then the unimaginable happened: on Thursday, feud turned into fusion. The Falayas used to be known for their aggression toward each other; however, what they’re known for has flipped. During party elections, Atchafalaya and Bogafalaya came together despite their political party differences—helping each other in votes, including each other’s parishes in chants, showing love and friendship, and even chanting for one another. Based on this new friendship, wouldn’t you want to hear the thoughts of both parishes? Especially with the PC quotes, everyone could gain a new insight or perspective.

Bogafalaya –
PC Guidry of Bogafalaya Parish explained, “One always wants to be better than the other. It’s like a big bro and little bro kind of dynamic… I do think it’s a good life lesson. We were bitter foes, right? And didn’t want anything to do with each other. And now there’s somewhat of a bond. I think if the Falayas can get through this mishap, then each and every one of the citizens can get through any obstacle they face.”

A citizen of Bogafalaya Parish stated, “At first, I was very unsure about it. But when I found out both parties were aligned, I was really happy and confident in both parishes. I really think it came naturally.” Another added, “I first started off hating Atchafalaya, like every other Bogafalaya member, but as this voting alliance formed, I loved them.”

Atchafalaya –
PC Terro of Atchafalaya Parish explained, “Ted Lasso is one of my favorite shows because he tells his players to be like goldfish—to have short-term memory, because a goldfish is the happiest animal in the world. Having that short-term memory helps you, and I think that they’re forgetting the robberies… and forgiving each other. Like I said, they’re all working toward a common goal… When it requires having a good week, they’re accomplishing that together, and that’s the goal I want them to accomplish. Elections, wins—they’re temporary, but brotherhood is forever.”
A citizen of Atchafalaya Parish claimed, “I think it was a very poetic story, where we went from being off to now being the greatest power force of all time.” Another citizen claimed, “Honestly bro, keep it a stack. We came out and we were enemies bro. I think that love-hate relationship really means a task for a way. We got to know somebody, like a different perspective. It changed the perspective. Thats honestly how it’s inspirational… I think we just created the most powerful duo in LA Boys State history. I mean, I looked in the eyes of their leader and just felt a deeper emotional connection.”
