Dodgeball Dilemma

Dodgeball is an intense game of both skill and strategy. Not only do you need to dodge the balls coming at you, but you also need to aim the balls you’re throwing. But clearly, in the game of dodgeball, one team shines above all the rest when it comes to both skill and strategy. That team is Feliciana. They had a rough start in their first game, barely scraping out a victory against Lasalle. After that, it was smooth sailing to the finals with no major hurdles. That all changed when they reached the final, though. Their opponent was Caddo, a team that had clawed their way back up from the losers’ bracket. The final match was incredibly close, with the two teams trading strike after strike until the final ball was thrown and Team Feliciana was named victorious. Through their teamwork, determination, and coach, they were able to walk away from the game with pride.

But the game isn’t the only unexpected thing that happened that day. When the game was finished and everyone was ready to head to the dorms, Pearl Parish was upset when they couldn’t find their mascot, the Pearl. They brought the missing mascot up to the PCs, and they were very concerned by her disappearance. The PCs tried to find the mascot, but when nothing came up, they turned to the Parishes. No one spoke up for a long time, though eventually, someone unzipped their bag and dropped the Pearl. When the PCs asked what happened, everything finally became clear: during the game, a citizen from Atchafalaya Parish had snuck over to Pearl Parish and snatched the Pearl mascot right from under their noses. Currently, the Pearl stands safely within her Parish walls.
