The Ghost of Sabine Parish

The Press Corps got an anonymous tip on Wednesday night that there were some sounds coming from the top floor of Ascension. No one knew what the disturbance could be, but it was keeping the Mississippi Boys up. As dedicated reporters, we saw no option but to chase this story. We raced up the stairs of Ascension Hall to the fourth floor and were faced with what looked like a ransacked Parish dorm hall.

Signs were toppled over, blue jeans were scattered across the floor. In the pocket of one of the jeans was a message from a Parish Counselor who always seems to be on his way. Parish Counselor Harris left what some might call a warning, saying that Sabine Parish is here to stay with their blue jeans.

A map was also left in the jeans. An X marked the space between the Parishes of Pearl and Mississippi. We immediately jumped to Classrooms Cloud, and sure enough, the area marked on the map took us to a secret page: one for Sabine Parish. One that, as you all know, is not one of the five Parishes.

The page had videos and an audio message from PC Harris himself. The message and the cloud page welcomed the members of press into Sabine Parish. The videos were of last year’s Citizen Award ceremony. Sabine swept the board. They won Best Parish, Best School Board, Best Song, etc. They dominated Boys State, but were disbanded or forced out this year.

In an interview with two PCs, they gave us some valuable information on Sabine. Their obsession with jeans? It’s like their Mockingjay. We were told that Sabine dominated mainly because PC Harris hand picked the kids out of other Parishes, and are still at Boys State and will show themselves in time. That element of surprise made them “powerful.” During the interviews, a bag with “Sabine” written on it was placed on the table. Two party bands were taken out from it. This freaked out the PCs, yet they said they did not know what it meant. This mystery still has missing pieces. If you have any clues or tips, please contact the press.
