On the first day of LABS, every citizen meets many people that they do not know, many of whom introduce themselves to you in an effort to start their campaign. Through interactions and meetings with the different parishes and mascots, there appears to be some controversy surrounding the political strategies. What are some of your morals, and what do you look for in different people? How did you feel about electing random people that you just met after interacting and hearing their speech?
“Elections belong to the people. It’s their decision. If they decide to turn their back on the fire and burn their behinds, then they will just have to sit on their blisters.” —Abraham Lincoln. Think about this quote and use it to guide your decisions. Upcoming party and state elections are going to be critical, and so are the decisions you will make. Will you stick with citizens from your parish or vote for new citizens that might be rivals?
