The Parish Council of Cane Parish passed an ordinance today (June 24th) which effectively changed the names of their J.C.s and P.C. This ordinance was enacted by Cane Parish President Jude Doucet. When asked about the purpose of this ordinance, Doucet said that “it was mainly made to promote coordination and motivation within our group. I wanted to make sure that our parish is enjoying themselves in every way possible. This was my way of ensuring that.” However, the S.C.’s came to the decision that this ordinance was out of the bounds of the Parish President’s power. This resulted in a return to normalcy in Cane Parish.
The changes of the names were as follows:
J.C. Josh –> J.C. Yaps
J.C. Guidry –> J.C. Bright
J.C. Steve –> J.C. Penney
J.C. Abram –> J.C. Quads
P.C. Lord –> P.C. Your Majesty
