As many of us know, Boys State’s government is built upon democracy. We vote for who we want to represent us and take control of the respective position, but do we really stay updated with their actions? After diving deeper into the investigation within the LABS community, there have been many concerning but rather interesting ordinances being passed. The parish of Cane has decided to pass an ordinance stating that if a citizen was to not salute Hasbulla, he would have to publicly perform the “Ice Spice” dance. Moving to the people of Cameron in Atchafalaya, they have passed a bill specifying the restrictions set on people over the weight of 200 pounds through the ages of 0-14. The ordinance makes them unable to use playground equipment. Cameron citizen Thomas Watkins believes that this ordinance will be “beneficial because it will reduce wear and tear on the equipment”. Anyone that breaks this weight limit by law will be sent to the gym to run.
