On Tuesday the citizens were introduced to LABS Legislature. Legislature is a key aspect of Boys State and its role is to deconstruct the legislative process for citizens. Legislature is not just a popular time for citizens, it is also a favorite time for the Senior Counselors. SC Bryant loves Legislature and believes it is important for our citizens because it allows the citizens to be “empowered and to get involved in state government past the Boys State level”. Citizens are expected to grow from their Boys State roles in Legislature to roles in the state level of Legislature. SC Bryant advises the citizens to be ready to enjoy hot debates that are “raucous and spicy”. Whatever comes from Legislature it is important to be excited and enjoy your time.
